May 2026 CEO Community Update

As we wrap up May and step into June, I’d like to share a few highlights from across TVHC and reflect on the continued progress we are making together in advancing access, quality, and care for our communities.

This has been a particularly meaningful month for our Clinical Quality & Operations Workgroup (CQOW), which continues to play a central role in strengthening how we deliver care. At the end of April, teams from across the organization came together for the 2026 CQOW Annual Retreat to reflect on progress, align priorities, and set a clear path forward. Many initiatives have now moved beyond early implementation and are advancing toward sustainability and scale, with a focus on improving workflows, strengthening outcomes, and expanding access to care.

Building on that momentum, members of our CQOW team had the opportunity to present at the 2026 OCHIN Learning Forum, sharing TVHC’s approach to quality improvement with health centers from across the country. Their presentation highlighted our cross-functional model, which brings together clinical, operational, and data teams to drive meaningful, data-informed improvements. It was an opportunity not only to showcase the progress happening at TVHC, but also to contribute to broader efforts across the community health center network to improve care for patients nationwide.

I also want to highlight the completion of Emergency Code trainings across our clinical sites, which focused on strengthening preparedness, communication, and response during urgent situations. These sessions reinforced shared protocols and introduced tools to support consistent, coordinated action across teams. This work is an important part of ensuring our clinics remain safe, responsive, and equipped to support both patients and staff in any situation.

Thank you for your continued partnership and collaboration. Together, we remain committed to advancing health equity, improving access to care, and strengthening the systems that support the well-being of our communities.

Warm regards,

Andrea Schwab-Galindo
TVHC Chief Executive Officer
