August 2026 CEO Community Update
As we close out August, I want to take a moment to reflect on a month that highlighted the power of partnership, community connection, and our shared commitment to improving health outcomes for the people we serve.
This month, we had the opportunity to celebrate the people behind that work during our annual Summer Fiesta. While this event is focused on our staff, it also serves as a reminder that exceptional care is only possible because of the talented, compassionate individuals who bring our mission to life every day.
This year’s “Rep Your Team” theme celebrated teamwork, collaboration, and connection across departments and sites, while recognizing employees celebrating milestone anniversaries, educational achievements, scholarships, and special awards for their contributions to TVHC. These moments of recognition help strengthen the culture that supports the care we provide throughout the year.
We were also proud to learn that TVHC once again earned the Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality badge from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA). This national recognition honors health centers that demonstrate excellence in improving patient outcomes while keeping care accessible and affordable. The award highlights our ongoing commitment to using innovative technology to enhance care and reflects the dedication of our staff and partners who work every day to advance high-quality, equitable healthcare in our communities.
Finally, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many community partners, vendors, volunteers, and organizations that helped make our Family Health Fiesta a success. The event brought together families, healthcare providers, community resources, health education programs, and enrollment support services in a welcoming and family-friendly environment. It was inspiring to see so many organizations working side-by-side to connect community members with the resources they need to live healthier lives.
Events like the Family Health Fiesta are a great example of what can happen when healthcare and community partners come together around a shared goal. They also remind us that improving health extends beyond the walls of our clinics and into our neighborhoods, schools, and community spaces. I am grateful to everyone who participated, supported the event, and helped spread the word. Your partnership made a meaningful impact.
Thank you for your continued collaboration, trust, and commitment to advancing health and well-being throughout our communities. Together, we are building stronger connections, improving access to care, and creating healthier futures for the individuals and families we serve.

Warm regards,
