We are proud to share that members of our team recently represented TVHC at the 30th International San Diego Summit: Working Together to End Violence & Abuse.

Dr. Jessica Apfel and Mónica Zúñiga Fajuri presented TVHC’s model of integrated care, highlighting the essential role of our Integrated Behavioral Health Department and our preventive mental health program, Cultura y Bienestar.

Their presentation focused on the successful strategies behind our continuum-of-care model—approaches that have proven effective in reaching, engaging, and connecting at-risk, vulnerable, and underserved Latino immigrant families with comprehensive, integrated health services.

This summit was a valuable opportunity to showcase the innovative work happening at TVHC and to contribute to a global conversation about ending violence and abuse through culturally centered, collaborative care.
