HEAR FROM OUR PATIENTS

I had been waiting almost a year to get the surgery I really need, but I couldn’t figure out how to move things forward. TVHC helped me get my cardiology clearance, schedule my appointments, and even arranged transportation so I could make it there. I’m so grateful. I finally feel like I’m on the path to getting better.

Jared, 56

I came in looking for help with my son’s
Medi-Cal paperwork, but I ended up sharing how overwhelmed
I’ve been caring for him and ignoring my own health. TVHC helped me apply for coverage, scheduled my appointments, and supported me in getting connected to behavioral health care. I finally feel like I can start taking care of myself again.

Maria, 46

A friend told me about a weekly group for seniors, so I decided to go one day. I was going through a hard timehomeless, in a lot of pain from a bad tooth, and feeling really down. After the group, I talked to the facilitator. She listened to me and helped connect me to someone at the clinic. They got me in with a dentist, helped me with my high blood pressure and sugar, and even gave me support with housing. I still go to the group every week. Talking, laughing, being heard really helps. I’m very grateful.

Jorge, 70
