Earlier this month, TVHC was recognized by HRSA for our successful Operational Site Visit (OSV) this past February with a unique opportunity to serve on a panel in their national webinar, Navigating the OSV Journey.  

The event brought together over 1,300 health center leaders, HRSA staff, primary care association members, and consultants, all eager to learn best practices for OSV preparation.

Our own Compliance and Risk Management Specialist, Jeenisha Patel, was invited as one of six panelists from health centers across the country in recognition of her leadership during TVHC’s most recent OSV and helping us achieve a 96% compliance rating. During the webinar, panelists shared insights on how they prepared for the OSV, with a special focus on strategies for compliance, organization, and addressing feedback. 

“This was my first OSV,” Jeenisha shared, “and to be invited to speak about our experience alongside leaders with multiple OSVs is truly an honor. I not only made new connections, but I was able to pay it forward by helping other health centers by sharing my personal experience with OSVs.

The HRSA webinar received excellent feedback as the first session to feature panelists sharing firsthand experiences, underscoring the importance of collective expertise within the health center community.
