In our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive, integrated care, we are thrilled to highlight our Comprehensive Prenatal Service Program (CPSP) and Early Childhood Development (ECD) teams for their successful collaboration during a recent Centering Pregnancy group session at our Mission Clinic!

These two teams came together for a special presentation at CPSP’s Centering Pregnancy group, creating a valuable experience for our pregnant patients and setting a strong foundation for their newborns’ future health.

Liliana Peralta, Women’s Health Manager, shared her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “The ECD team did an amazing presentation! I really loved the First 5 New Parent Kit and how it was broken down for the patients, it made a huge difference!”

Guadalupe Anguiano, Early Childhood Care Coordinator, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of parental engagement: “I had an amazing time presenting to the pregnant moms about the ECD Program. During this presentation, we focused on parenting education, and it was great seeing how engaged the future moms were.”

The Centering Group, a new addition to our prenatal services, offers pregnant women a supportive environment where they can receive education, share experiences, and prepare for the journey of motherhood.

Early Intervention Specialist Melanie Flores also reflected on the success of the event: “As one of our first presentations, it went so well! It was great getting to meet the expecting mommies and identifying resources in their community that they can turn to when questions arise.”
