To bring holiday cheer to TVHC families, during the last weeks of 2023, the WIC Department collaborated with the Alameda County Fire Department and the Newark League of Volunteers for their Annual Holiday Toy Drive! 

The WIC team sorted and organized the donated toys from partner organizations to distribute to families at TVHC clinics during the 2023 holiday season. 

The team was also joined by the Community Outreach and Advocacy (COA) Department’s Promotoras, who helped the drive run smoothly. 

By the drive’s end, the WIC team distributed over 2,000 toys, along with calendars, children’s books, diapers and baby blankets. 

Thank you to everyone who participated in the drive to provide our WIC families with much needed gifts and necessities.
