TVHC Leaders Complete CPCA Health Management Program

We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of Director of Business Development Christina Antos, Operations Manager – Referrals & Med. Records Guadalupe (Lupe) Calderon, and Site Operations Manager Jonathan Rivera, who graduated from California Primary Care Association’s (CPCA) Health Management+ Cohort!

This four-month leadership training equips Community Health Center leaders with essential skills to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.

With a focus on strategic decision-making, care management, population health, and value-based care, the program provides expert-led training, peer learning, and practical tools to help participants build high-performing teams and improve care coordination.

“They kept us engaged with hands-on activities and dropped real, practical wisdom—stuff that made me reflect but also gave me tools I could actually use,” said Christina. “More than anything, it felt like a safe space where everyone’s voice mattered, and that made all the difference.”

Actively investing in our leaders and management is essential to building a strong, resilient organization. By providing opportunities for professional growth and skill development, we hope to empower our teams to lead effectively, drive innovation, and improve the quality of care for our patients.

In terms of important lessons learned, Jonathan stated, “The most impactful takeaway from the training was learning how to rediscover our passion for the job as well as learning how to navigate different personalities within the workplace.”

This achievement reflects TVHC’s ongoing commitment to leadership development and operational excellence. Congratulations to our graduates!
