TVHC Hosts Luncheon Celebrating 2024 Values Champions

TVHC CEO Andrea Schwab-Galindo recently hosted a special lunch to honor our 2024 Values Champions—team members who go above and beyond every day to embody our organizational values: Collaboration, People-Centered, High-Performing, Learn-It-All, Resiliency, and Teamwork.

Each of our champions was nominated by their colleagues and selected for the ways they consistently show up for both patients and teammates. During the lunch, Andrea shared how living out our values is more critical than ever, especially in times as volatile and complex as the ones we’re in.  In addition to lunch and great conversation, each champion received a Values Champion Award and a bonus in recognition of their contributions.

We’re also proud to share that one of this year’s champions, Appointment Clerk/Medical Receptionist America Cardenas Rangel, was recently accepted into nursing school.

“I want to sincerely thank TVHC for being a pivotal influence in my decision to apply to nursing school,” America shared. “Seeing firsthand how we positively impact our patients’ lives has inspired me to continue that work as a Registered Nurse.”

America will begin her nursing journey next spring at Ohlone College, and we look forward to continuing to see her growth as a TVHC team member.

A huge thank you to all of our 2024 Values Champions for their unwavering dedication and resilience towards patient care and teamwork. You bring our mission to life!
