On Wednesday, November 29th, the Community Outreach and Advocacy (COA) department hosted the 2023 Promotoras Graduation to recognize the hard work of the academy’s 13 Promotoras during the 7-week training course.

“As we continue to look into our future and embrace the opportunities and challenges that come our way, I, along with our board of directors and leaders, feel confident and empowered to have the Promotoras by our side,” said CEO Andrea Schwab-Galindo.
During the ceremony, Andrea presented one of the program’s founders – Lupe Nunez – with an award thanking Lupe for her decades of service and continued support of the program.
