November 2024 CEO Update
As we approach the end of the month, I’d like to take a moment to update you on some of the important work happening at Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC) and in the broader healthcare landscape.
I recently attended the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Winter Strategy Session, where I joined over 300 leaders from health centers and primary care associations across the country. This annual gathering is an important time for us to discuss the direction of healthcare, share insights, and collectively prepare for the changes impacting our field.
These discussions at the local, state, and national levels are crucial as we continue to navigate a healthcare landscape that is evolving rapidly. In addition to national efforts, TVHC actively collaborates with partners at the county and state levels, with regular meetings to ensure we’re well-prepared to respond to new developments.
We remain focused on our mission of providing accessible, high-quality care to all members of our community, and I look forward to keeping you informed as we work to protect and strengthen healthcare access in the year ahead.
On another note, I’m pleased to share that our team recently celebrated Tiburcio Gives Thanks Week, a time dedicated to expressing our gratitude for the hard work and dedication of our staff.
It was heartwarming to see our team come together with spirit day celebrations and notes of appreciation, highlighting the commitment each of our staff members brings to TVHC’s mission.
Finally, as we approach Thanksgiving, I want to extend my warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. May your holiday season be filled with joy, gratitude, and time spent with family and friends.
Thank you for your continued support of TVHC and the vital work we do together in our community.
Warm regards,
Andrea Schwab-Galindo
TVHC Chief Executive Officer
