Last month, TVHC hosted multiple community organizations for its 2023 Health and Resource Fair in Hayward!

The event featured tabling from 15 different community organizations, including Eden Youth & Family Center, Kidango, Ruby’s Place, 4Cs of Alameda County, Hayward Area Recreation & Park District (H.A.R.D.), Castro Valley Adult and Career Education, Immigrant Hope San Leandro, Eden United Church of Christ, Rubicon Programs, and Alameda County Tobacco Control Coalition.

Alongside hot chocolate, a photo booth, and performers from Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, kids participated in activities such as a youth bike rodeo by Bike East Bay and rock climbing with H.A.R.D.

The event was a success with over 300 attendees, over 40 COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations administered, and 150 bags of food distributed.

TVHC’s WIC program also participated by providing over 200 diapers to give away, helping families with a much-needed resource during the holiday season.
