On Friday, October 27th, TVHC’s Family Support Services (FSS) Department hosted its annual Trick or Treat event at Kennedy Park for families enrolled in the program.

From noon to 3 p.m., the FSS team handed out goodie bags, served lunch, and oversaw activities for the kids with the help of TVHC’s Promotoras. Every attendee received a goodie bag with toothbrushes and floss to emphasize the importance of dental hygiene and nutrition.

These FSS events create the opportunity for families with children five years of age and under to interact with caring community members and fellow families in a safe and emotionally supportive environment.

This fun afternoon also included a costume parade led by FSS Quality Assurance Coordinator Karla Aguirre in her rubber chicken lady costume! Please see below for pictures of all the fun.
