TVHC was honored to take part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the completion of the first phase of the Stack Youth & Family Center, a long-awaited milestone in South Hayward. 

The Stack Center represents a decades-long, community-driven effort to create a space that fosters opportunity and well-being for families in South Hayward. The newly completed first phase expands access to affordable, high-quality childcare through Kidango, providing essential early learning opportunities for local families. 

For TVHC, the Stack Center is a meaningful reflection of our mission—to improve the health and well-being of our communities through accessible, comprehensive care. 

Phase II of the Stack Center project will include the expansion of TVHC’s Silva Clinic, creating a centrally located space to provide comprehensive pediatric services for the community. As part of the Stack Center partners, TVHC is committed to ensuring that families in South Hayward have access to the services and support they need to thrive. 

“Our community members, partners and advocates came together to celebrate this accomplishment and the opening of Kidango’s new childcare facility,” shared TVHC CEO Andrea Schwab-Galindo. “We are excited for the planning team to start Phase II and for our Silva Clinic to be renovated and expanded!”

The completion of the first phase is just the beginning. As planning for the next phase of the Stack Center progresses, TVHC remains committed to working alongside our partners Kindango, Eden Youth, La Familia and HARD to expand resources and services that make a lasting impact. 

The future of this space is bright, and we are excited to continue growing with our community!
