We’re excited to announce that Dr. Sridevi Ponnala, our Chief Integration Officer, has been appointed to the Dental Hygiene Board of California (DHBC) by Governor Gavin Newsom!

“I am both excited and deeply honored to serve at the state level, working to positively impact the dental health workforce in California,” said Dr. Ponnala. “This appointment represents a significant opportunity to make a difference in our communities, and I am excited and committed to the work ahead.”

As a member of the DHBC, Dr. Ponnala will work with fellow board members on policy development, licensing oversight, monitoring continuing education requirements, and providing budget oversight to protect public health and maintain professional standards.

“As someone who has worked alongside Dr. Ponnala for the past 10 years and seeing the impact she has made at TVHC, I am excited for her to have such a significant role in helping the state meet the evolving needs of our communities,” said CEO Andrea Schwab-Galindo. “On behalf of the TVHC Board, Executive Team, and staff, we couldn’t be prouder of Dr. Ponnala’s accomplishment.”
