January 2022 Update From TVHC CEO Andrea Schwab-Galindo

Hello and Happy New Year!

It is hard to believe how fast January has come and gone! Everyone at TVHC has been working diligently to ensure that 2022 is a year that we continue to serve those who need us the most and expand accessible, high-quality care to more patients and community members.

As we saw over the last two years of the pandemic, having accessible health care is critical to making sure that our communities are healthy.

We believe that health is more than just the absence of disease and includes addressing the disparities our community has experienced from the pandemic and the COVID virus, such as food insecurity and a lack of access to mental health services.

In this update, we want to extend a special thank you to our donors who helped us start 2022 with the resources needed to expand care to our patients and community members. Together we are ensuring health care is a human right.

Below is a recap of what TVHC was up to in January 2022, including preparing to open our 10th clinic, launching a new food distribution site, and creating a culture of health amongst our staff.

Thank you,
Andrea
