As we reach this milestone number of 76,000 administered vaccines, we would be amiss if we didn’t thank our incredible community partners who came together when the people needed them the most.
A special thank you to the Hayward Fire Department who showed our community what is possible when heroes unite! A long-time partner, the Hayward Fire Department helped us co-lead the initial efforts in meeting the needs of our community and helping us to vaccinate thousands of people each week against COVID-19.
Thank you to Alameda Fire Departments, Chabot and Ohlone College Nursing Programs, Eden Church, Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Village Connect, New Haven School District, San Lorenzo School District, Alameda Health Consortium, Community Health Center Network, and volunteers from the community for helping us to prevent countless deaths and hospitalizations in our community.
We also want to thank Alameda County Health Care Services for supporting TVHC in our efforts to provide COVID testing, and contact tracing and investigation services.
And thank YOU for reading this newsletter and supporting us as we do the work needed to fight health disparities and increase vaccine equity for our patients and community members.
