Funded by the University of California, San Francisco Fresno Medical Education Program, the goal of this program is to improve access to quality health care for underserved populations of California through academic community partnerships.
Being an AHEC allows TVHC to recruit, train, and retain our workforce by developing academic community partnerships with local colleges and trade schools and providing training experiences within our health centers and clinics.
It also allows TVHC to be equipped to respond to rapidly changing health priorities and emergency preparedness by having a larger workforce and connections we can depend on.
We look forward to training tomorrow’s health care heroes!
